چکیده

• Global Rainfall erosivity increase on average 26.2–28.8% (2050) and 27–34.3% (2070). Use of 19 climate models three RCP scenarios (2.6, 4.5, 8.5) for 2050 2070. 80–85% global land surface will have an increasing trend in rainfall erosivity. Large projected changes are expected the Northern Hemisphere. Climate change drive high erosion rates. The erosive force (rainfall erosivity) is a major driver soil, nutrient losses worldwide important input soil assessments models. Here, we present comprehensive set future projections at 30 arc-second (∼1 km 2 ) spatial scale using downscaled General Circulation Models (GCMs) simulating Representative Concentration Pathways (RCPs) periods 2041–2060 2061–2080. were obtained based Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) approach relating depth to through series (bio)climatic covariates. Rainfall erosivity in Europe.

Rainfall is one the main drivers of soil erosion. The erosive force of rainfall is expressed as rainfall erosivity. Rainfall erosivity considers the rainfall amount and intensity, and is most commonly expressed as the R-factor in the USLE model and its revised version, RUSLE. At national and continental levels, the scarce availability of data obliges soil erosion modellers to estimate this fact...

Projections of global mercury emissions in 2050.

Global Hg emissions are presented for the year 2050 under a variety of assumptions about socioeconomic and technology development. We find it likely that Hg emissions will increase in the future. The range of 2050 global Hg emissions is projected to be 2390-4860 Mg, compared to 2006 levels of 2480 Mg, reflecting a change of -4% to +96%. The main driving force for increased emissions is the expa...

Mapping monthly rainfall erosivity in Europe

Rainfall erosivity as a dynamic factor of soil loss by water erosion is modelled intra-annually for the first time at European scale. The development of Rainfall Erosivity Database at European Scale (REDES) and its 2015 update with the extension to monthly component allowed to develop monthly and seasonal R-factor maps and assess rainfall erosivity both spatially and temporally. During winter m...

Short communication Rainfall erosivity in Cape Verde

This paper presents rainfall erosivity values derived from a 7-year rainfall recording in the Cape Verde islands, Central East Atlantic. The data set consisted of 63 storm events, continuously registered in 15-min intervals. Kinetic energy of storm rainfall corresponded to established values in other tropical locations. Two algorithms to estimate erosivity, expressed as energy times intensity, ...

Spatial and temporal variability of rainfall erosivity factor for Switzerland

Rainfall erosivity, considering rainfall amount and intensity, is an important parameter for soil erosion risk assessment under future land use and climate change. Despite its importance, rainfall erosivity is usually implemented in models with a low spatial and temporal resolution. The purpose of this study is to assess the temporaland spatial distribution of rainfall erosivity in form of the ...
